Orientation Day (& Cantonese 101)

Briefing. Rows of international students filled the lecture theatre. It was amazing to find out that there were actually around 500 exchange students, where at least 25% were from the Americas. The orientation lasted about three hours long, but it was very informative as they taught us some basic Cantonese phrases and explained most of the services they offered on campus.

Meeting the president. It was an honor to meet Mr. Rocky S. Tuan, the president of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. A bunch of exchange students gathered around him to take a group photo, but it was a privilege for me to stand by him and shake his hand.
